Regency House of
Wallingford Appoints New Medical Director
WALLINGFORD,
CT – March 17, 2009 – Regency House of Wallingford
recently announced the appointment of Garumuni A.
DeSilva, MD, as the facility medical director. This
appointment comes shortly after the facility opened the
doors to its signature Passport Rehabilitation unit,
housed within a recently opened new addition to the
facility.
Dr.
DeSilva is a member of the West Haven Medical Group and
maintains medical privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. DeSilva completed his residency at Norwalk Hospital
and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

DeSilva as a “caring, hands-on physician who is a
welcome addition to the facility.”
