Thank you for visiting Regency House on the web. Please stop by in person soon, or take a virtual tour of our center. 2011 featured the completion of the $14 million renovation to our 181 East Main Street location in Wallingford, including all new patient rooms, an expansive rehabilitation gymnasium and additional parking, making it the newest healthcare center in the state.
Regency House has so much to offer the people of Greater Wallingford – a great therapy team for short-term rehabilitation stays after a surgery or hospitalization and beautiful new rooms. The center was always known for its solid reputation in providing care long-term nursing care to seniors. Now with our focus on short-term, post hospital rehabilitation and nursing care, we are opening up new roads for health care in the areas of Wallingford, Durham, Meriden, Cheshire, North Haven and more.
Our biggest goal for 2012 is to spread the word about our ‘Passport to Home’ rehabilitation program and our new Pulmonary Rehabilitation program – it’s important for our community to know about the different options they have after hospital care.
Please visit us again and check in with us often for updates.
I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. My wife came to Regency House back in 2010 after a hip replacement and she had a wonderful outcome and experience and had praised the staff. I think from my rehab stay at Regency House that the staff is great, a caring group - the doctors on staff, nurses…even the food was great!. Nikki, the dining services director brought me a care package when I left, and I had wonderful crab cakes the day I was discharged. Everyone always said good morning, good afternoon, wishing you well, I could go on and on…I almost felt sad to leave here.”
“Regency House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is our family’s only choice ... you have the same nurses and aides every day, they are so friendly, and take the time to get to know you . . . the staff here becomes your family. Regency House’s staff was so compassionate to my father while he stayed here.”
“The people here are the best. They genuinely care about their patients and were always willing to go above and beyond to get me better. My husband and I are truly thankfully for all they have done.”
“The staff at Regency House is wonderful. The therapists worked tirelessly with me and were always encouraging me to push myself to get better, so I could return home. The care I received was second to none. I can’t thank them enough for all they did for me.”
